Hilton Head

Hilton Head! This year vacationing just got so much easier...kids really do get easier as they get older. Brock and Macie enjoyed being on the beach this year. Sand is a preschooler's best friend. And, of course, we love vacationing with Adam's Mom and Carl. They are a huge help with the kids and always enjoyable to be around.

Alicia was able to spend a couple days with us...which really means that she played with the kids while Adam and I enjoyed a little freedom. (Did I mention that I LOVE when Alicia is around?!) Carl, Cathy, Adam and I went out for crab legs one evening and took these pictures in Harbor Town.

Here is Alicia sneaking candy to the kids. I have photo evidence of this now...

One of my favorites!

Every time I see this picture, I really want an ice cream cone.

One morning, we took a little trip into Savannah. It's about an hour from Hilton Head. Cute historic town...much like Charleston, but HOT! The best part of Savannah is Mrs. Wilkes' Boarding House. It's a family style restaurant. When you sit down, there are literally about 25 dishes of different food on the table. It is AMAZING!
