Macie is here!

Welcome Macie Catherine Mumpower! She was born at 11:55PM on Thursday, May 10, weighing 8 lbs, 2 oz., and 19 3/4 inches long. Everyone is doing fine! More pictures to come.

Happy Easter! We spent the morning at church, of course. Adam preached on Christ, the warrior and how Christ defeated sin, death, and hell for us. Then in the afternoon we went over to the James' for a really good meal and Easter egg hunt. Here is Brock with Steve. Brock had his first real Easter egg hunt. He didn't quite get it, so Adam and Steve had to help him at first.

I think this is a really funny picture of Brock on Easter morning. We woke him up early and gave him his Easter basket. He was obviously still sleepy and had no idea what was going on. However, he perked up after he tasted what was in the egg.

Adam is the household barber. He's missed his calling...

One of my friends gave me a great idea - give Brock a popsicle when Adam cuts his hair. That way, Brock is occupied and not too interested in the scissors. Plus, the popsicle just melts in the sink. This works much better than giving him graham crackers (which just dissolve into mush in the water and it quite resembles a very bad diaper change).

It's always a good time when I make dessert. Why does batter taste so much better when it's on a beater?

I promise that Brock eats lots of vegetables and other healthy foods - but that just does not make for very good pictures!

Brock has been teething...and the weather has been really warm, so we thought he'd like a another popsicle. There's not enough "SpraynWash" in the world that would clean melted red popsicle off his clothes - so we just stripped him. I can't wait for the summer when I can remove his clothes for every meal.

Sylvia and Elizabeth gave me a shower on March10th. Sylvia hosted the shower and had everything beautifully decorated. Somehow in the midst of all the eating, opening presents, and talking, I did not get a picture with them. However, here's a good one of all the Stout gals...

Sylvia and Elizabeth gave Baby Girl this polka dotted dress and matching shoes. How cute is that!

Here I am with the best mother-in-law! She gave us a double stroller.

This is part of the reason why I've gained 28 pounds...

Bennett stole the show! She demonstrated how all the gifts worked. Here she is modeling the Bumbo seat that her Mommy and Nana got her little cousin.

This is one of Brock's favorite things to do with Daddy. He takes all the toys out of his toy box and piles them on Adam. Once everything is out of the box, he puts everything back in. Brock's only rule is that Adam must hold everything. Nothing is allowed to touch the floor.
